The ACT WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate™ (NCRC®) is achieved from completing the ACT WorkKeys® assessments. The assessments consist of three detailed exams – Applied Mathematics, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents. Having the NCRC® provides detailed information on skill levels that are essential in the workplace.
How is the NCRC® beneficial for employers?
The NCRC® helps employers increase their success in matching the right employee to the right job while strengthening retention! The assessments provide useful information about an employee’s essential workforce skill levels. Using the results of the WorkKeys® assessments allows employers to confidently select which employees possess their desired qualities.

How is the NCRC® beneficial for job-seekers and students?
The ACT WorkKeys® assessments build and measure essential workplace skills that can affect job performance and increase opportunities for career changes and advancement. After completing the assessments, job-seekers can earn their NCRC®. The NCRC® helps job-seekers match their interests to job skills profiles and can award college credit.
Students who have completed the ACT WorkKeys® assessments may be eligible to attain free credits at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
